Nissan GT-R for The Fast and Furious 6

This is the Fast and Furious 6 Nissan GTR that will be featuring when the acclaimed franchise returns in May 2013. As expected from the tuner based genre, the car will be packed with a whole host of after market technology, including a very much ‘radical’ aerodynamic set up.

R's Tuning was in charge of redesigning the entire cooling system of the GT-R, while the aerodynamic kit was developed by BenSopra. SP Engineering took care of the ECM calibration and used 100 octane to generate more power.

Taking advantage of a rare Switzer P800 turbo kit (800 BHP at the flywheel), and a custom cooling system by R’s Tuning we can expect this car to be providing a whole host of rubber burning action scenes. Further engine modifications include a HKS downpipe and a resonated Y pipe, with a whole host of tuning provided by SP engineering. Fueling is provided by 100 octane petrol so don’t expect it to run too cheaply.

The carbon doors, door sills and trims, engine cover and cooling panel set were provided by Seibon, as well as the carbon trunk and AMS performance carbon roof. The package also contains AeroCatch flush Mount Hood pins and Sparco trunk latches.

The interior boasts a steering wheel from MCR, while the stopping power is provided by Weapons Grade Performance's carbon ceramic discs. The brake lines come from Endless, the camber arms from R's Tuning and the engine has received a Switzer P800 turbo kit with the necessary tuning done by SP Engineering who installed a HKS downpipe and a resonated Y-pipe.

All told, the GT-R stands to have infinitely more credibility than the movie it will appear in. According to the dyno chart, the car is making 685 hp and 603 lb-ft of torque.
